He has declared a "state of emergency" for Ontario and is making it illegal to block the movement of goods, services, and people on any and all infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, etc. Fines are including $100,000 and 1 year in jail and taking away licenses, etc. Oh, and he claims that the emergency is "temporary," but they are going to CHANGE THE LAWS to make this crackdown permanent!

I am pleased to report that the Chief of Police and the other police spokespeople are FULLY in support of the truckers exercising their right to protest.
