They are concerned about losing working class voters. The speeches from AOC and from the UAW’s Fain betrayed this concern of theirs, and seems to indicate they understand that this election will in fact come down to working class voters in three particular states: Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. If Trump holds everything he had in 2020 and flips back Georgia and Arizona and flips Nevada as polls indicate he will, all he needs is one of those three states to put him over the top of 270 electoral votes.
