Warning- on gab, user ilDonaldoTrumpo recommended that one join GETTR to follow him. I joined gettr and at once my user was taken over and information that I knew nothing of was posted under my name. I deleted that post and then it came back again. I tried to delete my user and could not. Writing to gettr help desk brought me a security error message from my email service that the domain name of gettr was bad.
Recommendation - stay away from gettr.
