Dear Lord, our Heavenly Father, we come to You on this beautiful Ash Wednesday with thanks for acknowledging our need for Your grace and mercy with penitence in our heart. Your love is never failing, Your power is limitless, Your wisdom is unparalleled, and Your grace is overwhelming. Lord hear our prayer as we begin this journey thru Lent with You as we praise Your works to the whole world. Thank You for Your love and care over us, Your blessings and Your sacrifice so that we might have freedom and life. Today begins a period of inner reflection. Invite us inward to that silent, Holy space that holds Your Spirit, that beckons us to see our lives through the eyes of Christ and the truth and reality of Your love incarnate. And, when we open our soul to Your presence, let Your loving kindness flow through us and fill the pockets of our hearts. We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Savior, Amen
