Bryce Canyon, Utah was a lake millions of years ago. Those spires of rock are called Hoodoos and are formed by erosion over time. Bryce Canyon has the greatest concentration of Hoodoos on earth. It was a PERFECT day for a hike and hike we did; about 5 miles and an elevation change of around 1000'. The rim of the canyon sits at 8000' above sea level.
