The science books from which I taught for years had it wrong! As an example of the importance of peer review in development of scientific hypotheses and theory, the author described the "error" made by two "cold fusion" reseachers in announcing their success before thorough peer review of their method and results. I had my doubts about that story all along. @DecentralizeTV
