Though .gov now controls much of healthcare $$, it usually pushes the "work", like surveillance and vaccines, out to insurance co's. to manage. Not so with Covid. .gov retaining control of all Covid activities, surveillance, vaccines, $$, hiring. .gov is notoriously far too inept and corrupt to manage healthcare (shouldn't be managing the $$ either) That .gov is retaining control on Covid is frightening, in a chilling sort of way
