Last night we had a mini circus in my home. 2 sons on piano and guitar, their toddlers playing chase around the kitchen under Pappy who's trying to make sugar cookies. We witnessed the children's first experience at recognizing snow through the french doors. Our home was filled with joy and making memories. All of this came through answered prayer asking God to bring our children "home". Not physically but in the heart. God's timing is always perfect. So I look around this morning at a huge mess in the kitchen that I'm eternally grateful for. Perspective reveals what's truly in the heart. Remember to be grateful in all things even during winter.
