x.com@HealthRanger Mike, I apologize. I have been in the "profanity is bad" boat for some while, but the more I've been thinking regarding this, I believe that I was mistaken.
I certainly find that measured, thoughtful expressions can lead to deeply productive dialogues. Nevertheless, on a much larger scale, the censoring of swearing/profanity now seems to me to be a way to try to very subtly acclimate people to censorship, the police state, safe spaces, and the eliminating freedom of speech. Being against swearing and profanity is being against human freedom.
