I am a 72 year old father/grandfather who is a "common sense Libertarian Republican" and stand by that 100%. I voted for President Trump every time and I am certain he will be one of America's greatest Presidents. I believe in the customs, culture, way of life and heritage of America. I firmly believe in the blessed United States of America Constitution, the Republic it was founded on and the Bill of Rights! All of them! No picking and choosing like these arrogant leftists try to do!
To my friends and family, so very, very sorry for being out of touch for so long but finally I can explain! Of course, I feel terrible for my lengthy absence but in no condition + no phone, PC, etc. Just realized I was going to send a note but! I have been blessed with great luck with health for my 74 years and once again cheated death. At the very end of June, I had a terrible attack of Afib (atrial fibrillation) and Gordon called an ambulance right away. I was told I would die if I didn't go immediately to the hospital so directed them to take me to Advent (https://www.adventhealth.com/hospital/adventhealth-ocala) a cut above all others in the Ocala area.My name, of course, was in their computers as they took super care of my stroke 3-4 years ago so was rushed to their I.C.U. I was out of it so didn't feel their probing but think I could answer their questions as I always try to cooperate as best as I can. When the nurse woke me the next day I looked around at my beautiful huge room equipped with tons of equipment if I needed any device! They thoroughly studied me and I was very surprised when told I had a WEAK HEART! I felt perfectly normal but I did live with little exercise but couldn't believe I only had 15% of my heart pumping. For weeks before this attack, I tried almost daily to use a rollator to walk at a good pace for a long block & back. This had me breathing a little hard + my heart pumping but was normal shortly after I stopped. No clue there was anything wrong with me.

www.adventhealth.comSo a new world started the next day when my in-house Nurse arrived to check me out, another woman who was 1 of 2 Therapists (O.T & P.T.) Occupational and Physical, started me easily putting me through my paces with so many exercises, especially for my legs and back to gain full strength over time. I do many of them even when they are not here as it is so important for me to walk fairly normally again! Best of all Chase, a young man who moved here with his wife from Alaska is my Home Health Aide/Personal Assistant and he is wonderful + priceless! He takes perfect care of everything I need help with like showering, shaving, a little help dressing and so much more. While brother Gordon and his incredible wife Suzanne are here for a long visit, Chase is a big help for Suzanne mopping, sweeping, laundry, taking the trash out + Garbage Cans pick-up day, etc. He is only about to turn 22 but worked for his Dad in Alaska with Autistic kids and the disabled for years so much experience, his wife Selena immediately got a job with the ASPCA pet clinic as she is highly trained + experienced as a Surgical Veterinarian and though small, very strong so she handles 150lb dogs heaving then gently on the table all day longSo finally I am physically + mentally getting back into the swing of things. I feel very fortunate to be improving a lot and Gordon is still telling me I am going to live to 100 (hope springs eternal!) LOL
