Make sure you're stocking hollow point ammo, since regular FMJ 9mm ammo is largely useless against violent assailants.

@HealthRanger granted, the fragmentation of a hollow point has a better chance of hitting something vital. HOWEVER, you must remember that a bullet is still a bullet, and a well placed bullet, even a FMJ, will bring down anyone.
And, typically, if I was in a situation where I needed to be using a handgun, I certainly would not stop with one shot.
And, getting hit by anything traveling 900 feet per second is not a pleasant experience.
