@onlytruthmatters The storm looks to be coming to an end by this weekend. I did see that it's supposed to be 67 in Dallas on Tuesday. So that's promising! Defiantly exposed the weakness in the power grid. I have no doubt Texas will be better prepared should this come about again.

Texas power companies are withholding power from residential areas to save money on the sky high power costs. Elderly are literally freezing to death across the state so that Big Power can save a few bucks. Im living it. And i am way better off than most because i have wood burning stove and lots of wood.

Check this out. Power grid in texas goes down every 15 min. Cell towers have zero battery backup remaining because no time to recharge. Cell tower boot takes 7 minutes, leaving residents with just 8 minutes in which to use cell services out of every half hour. If you have a 911 emergency , u r screwed.
