Justice for #BreonnaTaylor has not been served. The decision not to charge the officers involved wasn’t surprising, but that goes to show how racist our legal system is. You can’t say all lives matter until black lives matter. Rest In Power Breonna
Look at this. 200,000 dead. More than any other country. And Trump’s poor #COVID response and excessive focus on the economy is why we have all these deaths. The GOP failed. We need a Democratic president in November.
Black. Lives. Matter.
Biden isn’t my favorite tbh but I really hate Trump. #settleforbiden #dumptrump #biden2020
What did he do wrong? Listen to science and actually try and protect us from covid?

We’ve got some good news and bad news today. Let’s start with the bad. Tropical Storm Beta (yes, we’re only like halfway through hurricane season and we’ve switched to the Greek Alphabet, which we haven’t done since 2005) is going to hit the coast of Texas as a TS or a Hurricane. Cities like Corpus Christi need to prepare now. Good news: Hurricane Teddy is now tracking east of Bermuda, sparing the island its second hurricane landfall in as many weeks. They are only under a Tropical Storm Watch.
USA peeps: The census is due at the end of this month. If you haven’t already, TAKE THE CENSUS!
Remember to look out for your mental health during these historic times. FaceTime your friends and family, spend time outside, set a routine, and limit your intake of social media and news. IMPORTANT: If you’re having suicidal thoughts, call 1-800-273-8255 (TALK) if in the USA. Other countries have their own hotlines. You got this!!!
Remember to never obtain news on COVID-19 from social media. Only use familiar and unbiased sources. The best resources include CDC.gov, WHO.int, and your city/county/state health department’s official website. Wear a mask, social distance, avoid crowds, and stay well! We’re in this together!
But don’t freak out! We won’t need to shut down the economy to save the planet. We can just ease away from fossil fuels to renewable energy, electrify all vehicles, and learn better practices for factories and manufacturing.
And for all you climate deniers on here, I live in NC and I missed almost a month of my senior year of high school due to Florence.
The storm lasted like 3 days and we got like 2 FEET of rain. Flood damage was so bad we missed school for a month. CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL. I HAVE ALREADY BEEN AFFECTED BY IT. YET WE HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND PULLS OUT OF CLIMATE AGREEMENTS. WE NEED ACTION RIGHT NOW. VOTE TRUMP OUT, EVEN IF YOU DON’T LIKE BIDEN.
Hurricane Sally just stalled over parts of the southeast leading to catastrophic flooding. This continues an emerging trend of larger and slower-moving tropical cyclones, which is strongly linked to manmade climate change. Hurricane Harvey in Texas, 2017 is a pretty infamous example. Also, Hurricanes Matthew and Florence inundated NC in 2016 and 2018 respectively, causing 2 “1000-year” floods in as many years. We need to take urgent action on the climate crisis NOW. BIDEN 2020
Another, this one’s about covid.
