Therefore, observers in Israel will be looking for the Renewed Moon of the 4th month around sunset (7:48pm IDT / 12:48pm EDT). If the new moon is sighted today in Israel, then new moon day will be from sunset JUL 6 to sunset JUL 7. If the renewed moon is not sighted today in Israel, then new moon day will be from sunset JUL 7 to sunset JUL 8.
The Renewed Moon of the 4th month (tamuz) "might" appear over the northwestern horizon of Jerusalem between 7:46pm and 8:27pm (IDT) / 12:46pm and 1:27pm (EDT) on SAT, JUL 6, 2024. On these two Commandments hang all the Torah and the Prophets ... In Matthew 22:34-40 and Mark 12:28-34, Yeshua was not making up "new" commandments. Rather, he was quoting Deuteronomy 6:4-6 and Leviticus 19:17-18 which summarize all the commandments in the Torah and the Prophets.
