The Pentagon is retarded. I recently learned that the M1 Abrams tank uses a "jet" turbine engine instead of a diesel engine. So it uses INSANE amounts of fuel, produces a HUGE heat signature that's easily spotted by thermal-equipped drones, is incredibly loud, needs its own special fuel, the delicate turbine blades get destroyed by ground dust and particles, plus the engine is crazy expensive, and almost impossible to repair in the field. What's not to like?

It's as if the Abrams was designed by the enemy to actually cripple USA and NATO forces in actual battle. When turned over to Ukraine, these tanks are going to be ROLLING STEEL COFFINS, sadly.

When these go into actual battle with Russia, they are going to be destroyed in short order. And the world will see yet another USA military failure, on top of the Afghanistan retreat.
