Out Farm has some of the best pasture lands in the state of WI and that took a lot of work, money, and time. Buying local food at fair market prices helps. But where the big problem is in land ownership. Farming on land that costs more than 3K per acre in my area at current farm products prices you will go out of business. What needs to happen is people need to form coops and buy up the land before Bill buys it all. Rent it back to good Farmers at a price that they can make a profit on. You won't make a profit but you will control the food supply. Words from a rich landowner and poor farmers!
