Friday morning in Ottawa: Large police operation ongoing slowly arresting protesters, towing trucks away by force, no one being allowed into downtown NOT EVEN THE PRESS. Police are saying this will take days to accomplish. Parliament was supposed to be debating the Emergencies Act from 7 am to midnight but they closed down Parliament until Monday! How convenient! So they are operating as though the Act is in effect when it has not been ratified.
