Here's how you know 100% that people have normalcy bias. Lake Mead is dropping like crazy. By 2027 or so (and maybe a lot sooner), Las Vegas will have ZERO water. What's the value of real estate in a city that has zero water? ZERO.
Yet people keep buying homes there with 30-year mortgages. And banks keep financing them. There will be ZERO value in just five years. Are all these people blind to reality?
Normalcy bias makes people totally blind to the direct evidence around them.
@HealthRanger SoCal, NV, AZ, NM, parts of TX & Mexico all rely on the Colorado river for water....If Las Vegas runs out of water so will hundreds/thousands of other cities will also have ZERO water.
I have been saying we can save up to 1.7 quadrillion gallons of water per year if we cut off all the water from golf courses. But the liberals think cutting off the water to the farmers is a better idea...do to the fact farmers tend to vote for republicans. America is done for.
@HealthRanger It started as a desert and will end as a desert. I find it highly suspicious (convenient) that lake Mead is suddenly drying up just when they need it to but that’s besides the point. The point is that you never have been and never will be able to trust the government for anything. Once you’re dependent upon them for anything they’ve got you over a barrel. That’s where we are today. There is only one cure.
@HealthRanger My question is where is all the water going? Water is a cycle. What we have will always be the same.
